Anundshög is the largest tumulus in Sweden near Västerås in Västmanland. This is the large central stone in a row of 15 stones near the mound, apparently marking out the route of the Eriksgata. This runestone stands at the centre of pre-Viking royal power.
The runes read: "Folkvid raised all these stones after Heden, Anund’s brother. Vred carved the runes." The Viking people would have understood.
